It's a small Japanese garden in Wakayama Castle compound, quite pretty in Autumn. If you visit Wakayama Castle, you should spare some time to see this garden.

This little garden is close to the back exit from the castle. It is very small but nice nonetheless.

We came on this beautiful garden in the grounds of the Wakayama Castle by chance and almost didn't go in, because the sign mentioned 460 yen. Signposts nearby use the name "Nishinomaru Teien" instead of "Momijidani Teien". Admission is free. This garden has it all...More
