You can and should reserve your seats in advance. We used this bus to go to Kurokawa Onsen and was very convenient. They have service to Kumamoto and Yufuin and other areas as well.

This bus line is efficient and goes just about everywhere (excluding the Harley Davidson dealership). The problem is the traffic, if you can take the subway or train-do it.

Next time you ride if you insist. For Nishitetsu bus, Nishitetsu train stations will also accept it.
