I went here for the first time and although it's difficult to get to it's worth it. Nestled in the midst of the city the atmosphere is relaxing. The green tea and a sweet hit the spot.

I think this is my favorite Japanese Garden in Japan. I have been to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara and for my money this is the best Japanese Garden in Japan. We go there every visit to Fukuoka. This is a MUST SEE for Fukuoka! Historic...More

A very quite and traditional park, with no tourists. There is a cute little tea house over the lake, with nice macha tea. Bring a book and enjoy the serenity.

We visited Yusentei Park on a weekday and were delighted to share the space with a group of beautiful ladies clad in kimono. The park was built in 1754 for the original purpose of a second home for Kuroda Tsugutaka, the 6th lord of Fukuoka....More
