10 years ago I saw a program about a little old lady pushing her cart into position to sell ramen in the driving snow. I've wanted to visit this place ever since. Que big disappointment. Food (ramen) average at best, overpriced for sure, hospitality not...More

This Street has many food stalls and different kind of local food. Best to walk the hole of the street before picking the stall you like. It was a hot night but we still had to try the stalls local food. The food is OK...More

we were here at night, its some nice walking street and along the canal where you get to experience the real japan. nothing pretentious... and i dont recommend children. theres plenty of food shops and you'll probably want to try something in the small alleys.

We were staying close to Nakasu around Hallowe'en and were lucky enough to stumble across to the island after dinner during the Nakasu Matsuri. This was great fun, lots of people on the streets, with the highlight being stumbling across an old school style wrestling...More

Situated idly between two rivers (Naka River and Hakata River), a quiet stroll in the cool breeze of the night calmly enjoying the quietness and serenity of the beautiful night line of Hakata. The yatai food stalls nearby are meant to be touristy based on...More

The location of the night City area just so separate and individual that sit idled with the city and separate from it in an enclosed circle. Shops and night clubs, entertainment shops were lined up on the sides of narrow street, short and winding. There...More

The night street of Fukuoka. Loaded with food stalls and people. Would recommend eating at one of the ramen food stalls but any others not so. It's interesting to watch how they pull their stalls from a parking slot and start heading to their designated...More

If you take any evening stroll during your stay make sure it includes the market stalls overlooking the Naka river. Even better is to take a seat and rub shoulders with the locals (quite literally) as you snack your way through their recommendations. Perhaps a...More
