Nice view with sea and mountain.. you can actually go in to the sea if can do some rock hopping. May be best to visit in non rainy days.

We left early in the morning from Ibusuki Onsen and drove south for about ten kilometers to the southernmost point of Satsuma Peninsular, Nagasakibana. It was a cold day, but we parked our car at the free car park which is at a lower level...More

Although it is an average place, there is no other better option to be visited in Ibusuki. I went there by taking bus from the Ibusuki train station.

It's got a great view, and the scenery is beautiful. Very nicely maintained and clean. There are a few shops about but no restaurants or tea rooms.

It's easy to reach by car. I thought it's a very small spot, but actually you can go down to the coast full of volcanic rocks. You can also get the full view of Mt. Kaimondake. It's worth visiting.

You can see Kaimon Mountain from different places in Ibusuki area but surely this is the best place. The Kaimon Mountain on the sea looks very charming and there are also a small lighthouse and a shrine there.
