It was full with culture and a beautiful view of the main street in Morioka City. I got to ring the traditional ceremony bells and watch the correct way of making prayer. They also have "good luck" charms for everything, called Omamori. They have one...More

The shrine used to be considered City Hall so the main street in the city of Morioka leads right up to the front of the shrine, allowing you to stand at the top of the steps and view the entire city.
