Nicely renovated and clean area with bars, restaurants leading to the harbour. Nice for a stroll and a drink. It is geared towards tourists tonight, so don’t expect the Best buys and food.good for a few drinks in the evening I would say (at inflated price).

If you expect to see Sarajevo's bas carsija or Istambul's bazaar - this souk is much more modern than that.
Better than in Beirut... but to get a feeling of real Lebanese souk you need to visit Tripoli

Don't buy from the scammers..
They sold me few souvenirs with huge amount of their lira and after few shops I found the same souvenirs in less than their quarter price
When I came back to refund them, they raise their voice and turned very rude even didn't respect my old age
ill never come back to this place again because of them

It's so nice to stroll through the old city, a flashback into history. I personally liked the abundance of flowers including 'flower roofs'. There are many shops and cafés. They are used to tourists, therefore many can speak English.

Very nice heritage, views and markets. You can buy local products and enjoy lunch in one of the nice cafes with their floral decorations and sunny seatings.

Variety of stuff can be find here, souvenirs shop, snack bar, restaurants, pub , chill lounge. I’m not sure about the price but seem to be reasonable.

Hi
the old souk is a part of Byblos village, there are many restaurants there(on this road) which each one might have their own program. So you have just to follow them on newspapers they used to write about their activities. And it is certainly advisable to call and do reservation otherwise you could not find any chance to share. hopefully i helped you??
