The building is very large, spacious, cool, however one has to walk down steps of staircase to the rest room and wudhu area. Clean drinking water is provided at several places, most welcome by many. Events are organised throughout the year. It is also nearby to the Zoo Johor, Danga Bay, City Centre, and many landmarks. We can see nearby... More

This mosque is lovely and set in a beautiful park-like location overlooking the Straight of Johor right over to Singpaore. We didn't enter the mosque itself but there was lots of parking so we parked and walked all around on the outside. It was very pleasant and with lovely views.

The mosque located on top of a hill, overlooking the Straits of Johor. The mosque is named for Sultan Abu Bakar, the father of Sultan Ibrahim who ordered its construction. The mosque can accommodate 2,000 worshippers at any one time
