I think the name of the temple is the Hock Soon Temple dedicated to Tua Pek Kong. This pretty temple is on the main roundabout right next to the other main sight in town, the Hindu Sri Subramanian Temple. There is a garden out front with sculptured trees, water features and small alters. Above it, on the hill, is the Mersing sign. As it is on the main road, we stopped several times to admire it and always noticed different elements than previous visits. It was quiet but once a bus of Chinese tourists stopped which made me think that other tourists would find visiting this temple interesting too.…
