I took a nice walk around this iconic and famous landmark of this whole of Langkawi Island during the night. It was very peaceful and quiet as the pandemic really hit the town badly. Nevertheless, the sight of this wonderful landmark which is litted up by a series of different colour lights remains undiminished. Unique and must visit.

We got here early in the morning (830) and it was amazing as we literally had the whole place to ourselves. Which meant we got to take pictures without any interruptions.

The main attraction is the big eagle and Langkawi sign. It’s cool, it’s not the pyramids at Giza, but for Langkawi it’s a cool site and a way to spend some time away from the beach. If you go later in the day there are also plenty of food and souvenir shops

Super beautiful! The sunset just sets it off so well. Of course, there are lots of tourists, taking pics, but everyone was friendly. The eagle is pretty awesome. It's well maintained and there are fountains with colored lights that come on when the sun has set. The bay is also beautiful, and there's a garden nearby you can walk in, even a small beach that's only really worth anything at high tide. There are also the usual tourist stalls and souvenirs there, which I'm not much interested in, but the ice cream was pretty good! 😋

Much anticipated visit but did not measure up to expectation. Empty shops in the so called shopping area and lots of people off ferries from islands lounging around with cases and boxes in large groups. Glad to see it though

This huge eagle is known as the iconic landmark of Langkawi. It is a must visit place in Langkawi since it is one of the beautiful sites for taking pictures to keep as memory. Recommend to visit there during early morning or evening to avoid the hot weather.

Worth seeing, as it is rather significant to Langkawi. We went early evening so it wasn’t too hot. We had a good wander and took lots of pictures, as did everyone else. We stayed on the other side of the island and wish we had realised sooner that we should have combined our visit to the Saturday night market in Kuah with a visit to the Eagle! So, if like us, you’re staying 45 mins away, make sure you plan a couple of other visits in the area.

It was just okay. You don’t need a whole lot of time and there’s not much to do in the area except for viewing the huge statue. Still nice, but that’s about it. We were here for under ten minutes. Also good to go first thing in the morning as there’s no one there so that makes for easy photo taking.

We went in the evening as the 90+ degree heat was abating. You can see the statue from quite aways away. The thought we had was "wow!" It's a lovely area on the point with plenty to get your attention. Boats in the bay, people watching, and restaurants at Jetty Point.

The massive structure of the Eagle makes to take a selfie with it. Lot of duty freeshops around the Eagle Square.beautiful miniature fountains, terraces and bridges, making it the ideal place for those postcard-perfect holiday photos. The square is a good place to watch ferries ply across the harbour but plan a trip here early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is at its least intense.

Had a short visit to this iconic landscape in Langkawi. There was many tourists, so taking a picture without anyone else was a bit difficult. However, in general, it was worth to spend some times here.
