It's alright, terminal is very clean and looks good, the boat is a little old but on the inside OK with comfortable chairs. But small. And that makes that the sea, even on a very calm day, feels very rough. Almost everyone got seasick. I...More

After reading reviews we were really unsure whether to book this ferry. It is true that the ferry is quite rough but not nearly as bad as everyone had made out - in fact it was quite fun! This is a very good way of...More

If you are contemplating riding this ferry don't. Its cramped, loaded full of screaming chinese drinking longnecks of tiger beet at 830am. It doesn't appear to have enough life jackets for everyone. One exit. Its not a pleasurable journey. For the price of flights its...More

A vomit inducing crossing from Penang Island and this was on a calm day. I dread to think what it would be like in a storm. Pay the extra and fly.

Worst boat ride of our lives. Very rough sea and a just a boat that is too small for it. Many people became sick and threw up. The sound and smell was absolutely horrible. If you want to go from Penang to Langkawi, I advise...More
