Just finished our sunset yacht experience. I have aquaphobia and can’t swim, the trained swimmer Mr Rahim was very patience and detailed on guiding me into the seawater jacuzzi net, imagine I’m afraid of swimming pool but I managed to dip in the seawater! My husband is a good swimmer but Rahim also be very alert whenever he needed stabilization in the water! The barbecue meal prepared by Mr Yogi was tasty! His satay and sambal udang made us to top up more! Lastly captain Hassan was brilliant, he made sure to sail us facing the beautiful orangish sunset and made sure of us getting the full view of it and take our time enjoying it! The view was brilliant with the iconic majestic Langkawi Eagle flying on the sky while we on the jacuzzi net. Me and my husband are so glad that we went on to this yacht experience with Tropical Charters, we tipped the crew 100bucks cause they deserved it. I told my husband when we return next time we are definitely patron Tropical Charters again! Thank you for the awesome memory😊

Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a perfect sunset view on a yatch. The crew were polite, friendly and helpful. The specialty of this boat is that you get to have a jacuzzi like feel when you dip yourself in the sea with a net , there is an instructor to make you feel safe at all times. Food and alcohol were served free flow and music was beautifully timed to the sunset . Was able to watch couple of eagles flying around which was pretty fantastic experience . This yatch has excellent crew and I did not feel any seasickness at all. Good experience for first timers !

Our sunset barbecue cruise was absolutely awesome. Take your swimwear as you can then enhance your experience. Barbecue food was well prepared and cooked. All drinks are unlimited and included. But it is expensive. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This a must do activity!

Among a half dozen or so companies offering a sunset dinner cruise, we went with Tropical Charters after finding a discount with Traveloka. The quicker visitors snagged all better spots (top deck and mats at the front of the boat) upon boarding and pretty much planted themselves for most of the ride. Considering the price they charge, they probably need to work on making this more equitable as some people were left seating inside. The all you can drink cocktails (limited selection but made stiff) and beer started right away to the delight of all passengers. About an hour after departure a net was thrown down at the rear of the boat for the "salt water jacuzzi" which was a fun new experience. They even threw down some beers for us as we were being dragged. The quality of the dinner buffet was decent and the three hour cruise was a good time mainly due to friendly staff and not overcrowding the boat. The photographer on board took some great photos (although they cost 50 MYR) with the sunset background and when we were on the rear net. Bit pricey but it was a fun evening activity.
