Basically walked in, did a lap and left within less than 5 mins. Extremely dated 80’s mall with every second shop empty, not even the McDonalds kiosk was open. Has a few big name shops like Nike, adidas and sketchers - unless you are specifically looking for something at one of these stores avoid this shopping centre at all costs. It was a disappointing waste of time.

Once again I take pleasure in writing my second review about Danna Hotel, Langkawi. The hotel is well located not far from the airport, gardens are beautifully landscaped, well appointed rooms, staff respond to your need/s promptly, food is of exceptional quality and well presented. The beach is clean with staff at hand to fulfill your requests. Being a vegetarian it can be challenging sometimes, however executive chef Juliano prepared exceptional vegetarian Italian meals for me and the Indian chef Data Ram was outstanding in making very special vegetarian dishes at a short notice. We also had some great drinks and cocktails at the Veranda bar. In addition to the commendable service received by those I acknowledged in my last review, I would also like to acknowledge the outstanding service we received from the following staff: Gaurav at the beach, Kushboo at the bar, Abhisekh & Khilan & Fatihah at Planters restaurant, Diptayajit at the front office who welcomed us when we left and returned to the hotel, Sabri - Villa Host greeted us daily with a big smile, Makhna and Safil who were excellent massage therapists, Kieran - assistant GM with whom I always shared some pleasantries and Anis the supervisor who fulfilled all our needs with food & beverages. Having stayed at many 5 star hotels worldwide, I can confidently say this would have to be one of the best hotels and we eagerly await our return sometime in the future.

It's a rundown place with barely anything open. They have 1 supermarket Billionaire. And their moneychanger offer horrible exchange rate. Don't change it here. Change at money changer along Cenang beach better rate

We went to Langkawi Fair Mall recently. We bought stuffs from sports shops Puma, Nike, Billabong & Adidas which happened to be owned by same people. I used my card to pay and the credit card terminal was not properly working so the cashier went to other shop to swipe it. (That's when I figured out that those shops were owned by the same person).
After we came from holiday, I received my bank statement. I noticed that I was charge twice for the same amount that I bought. I called my bank and they said that I have to sort it out with shop in Langkawi Fair Mall. I called the shop and it took me days before I managed to talked to the owner. He CONFIRMED that they charged me twice and he will contact his bank. I waited for weeks for him to respond but still he didn't so I chased him again. He said that his bank can't do anything about it as well. So he decided that it will be reimburse to my bank account. I gave him my bank details and waited for the money to be credited to my account. Weeks past and still the money is not yet in. I called him again for follow up and he said that he requested his bank for a refund. This incident happened two months already and yet up to this time the money is not yet credited to my bank account.
It's not the amount that matters here it is the CREDIBILITY of the shops and store owners I'm saying here that job will take them only 5 minutes to transfer back the money as it already been confirmed on both sides that it was double charged. This I feel cheated. Be careful to these sports shops especially those being managed by the same owner.
I WONT RECOMMEND TO BUY TO THIS SPORT SHOPS IN LANGKAWI FAIR MALL

I'll be glad to pay anyone $100 to punch the owner of the store that sells mobiles phones "oppo". Not much more needs to be said other than they sell fake phones. Beware.

The mall is one of the oldest mall in Langkawi and located near Jetty Point and Eagle Square. Most of the crowds are in Billion Duty Free Supermarket for booze, chocolates, cigarettes and etc. However, the mall seems too quiet besides Levi's, Dockers, Nike, Puma and Adidas.

It is understandable if malls in Langkawi are small but this mall has no reason for it to exist. I think less than 50% of the mall is occupied with tenants/outlets. The 1st floor was empty and it has no "attraction" to attract tourists for visitation.
Unless you would like to have a meal at McDonalds, Papparich or Secret Recipe: yes you may.
For grocery means, there is a grocery shop inside named, "Billion" and it is Duty Free. However it is more recommendable to shop at other retail outlets at Kuah Town.
Other than that you may skip this, head to Pantai Cenang or to the resorts you are supposed to check-in.

We went to this shopping mall to check it out as we have visited Langkawi Parade yesterday. It is really an old shopping mall in the old setup and design. Billion supermarket seems all right for basic necessities. Would suggest a facelit especially on the lightings inside the mall so that it will appear bright

You can get almost all the available shopping stuffs here compared to elsewhere... The only place i would say next to the Langkawi Parade which is nearby...

Have been here twice in two days as they have a great range of stores. My favourite is Billion, where you can get everything you need and at duty free prices, great place to buy shoes and clothes, supermarket in the basement is good too. I have size 8-9 wide feet and no dramas getting shoes here!
