Went with colleagues as part of a company trip. It was really hot and humid so the air-conditioned place was very welcoming. Sales assistant are available for any queries. The batik pieces are BEAUTIFUL. They have a variety of clothing/accessories made from hand drawn batik. The clothing they carry are made from very soft material, perfect for the hot weather.... Nice, easy to find shop. Has a good variety of clothing for men, women and children, together with lots of smaller items such as batik wallets, bags etc. Real batik is rather expensive but available in fabrics from cotton to silk. Worth a visit if you are into batik and handicrafts.

Visited here with my wife. A really large selection of batik goods. We also saw a short demonstration of batik painting. If you are looking for genuine local products that are attractive this is well worth a visit. Batik is never cheap, but the prices here were very good when compared to KL and Penang. Good for souvenir and present... More

Enjoyed the little batik tour, friendly service and lovely handmade batiks! They're all at reasonable prices too, should definitely get souvenirs for yourself and family/friends.

This is a large retail outlet with batik and other handicrafts. From a European perspective the prices are very reasonable - even cheap. And there is a huge range. We actually went to spend a couple of hours out of the heat and to try doing a batik painting. For only 30 ringgits (£6) you choose a pre drawn fabric... More

You can learn how batik is made and buy an authentic batik product. It is not cheap, so be prepared to spend some money if you want to buy something. We really recommend to visit this place.

Many choices of batik products to choose but of course batik prices are not cheap. Suitable for tourists.

While not a must - go, we found this interesting. You can see people making batik. The items in the place are not really cheap but the place is arranged like a treasure trove and we enjoyed browsing.

We visited this place on our day tour of Langkawi - lots of lovely kaftans, and tops and stoles and paintings. Very reasonably priced. My only regret is that I didn't buy more stuff.

It was raining whole day so we decided to go for batik painting at Atma Alam. It was totally worth it!! We enjoyed our 2 hours there and we were surprised by our own painting! A good activity if you just want to relax on a rainy day :)
