You jump in a truck who drives you into the park. Never stopped for comments or explanations.
A waste of time and money.

Decided to go for a walk at very last minute and did not regret a moment. Beautiful garden walk with plenty of information for visitors.

Fruitless journey around a Fruit Farm
Feb 2020
Lured here on the recommendation of our taxi driver. Can't think of a single good thing to say about the place.
Dual pricing, where Malaysian citizens pay 10 RM and foreigners 30 RM.
The "buggy" ride is a small lorry with several benches. On this delightful carriage we were driven past fruit trees bearing little or no fruit. This is not an orchard just some sparsely planted trees along a small, private road.
Halfway along the tour you alight to eat some prepared fruit. Obviously, none of it grown here.
Back aboard the lorry and past some desolate greenhouses with torn plastic walls and nothing but dead plants inside them.
Then another stop, this time to feed some fish! Of course! I mean, what orchard doesn't have a fish pond in it?
Then their version of a highlight. A jackfruit wearing sunglasses which you are asked to stand behind as they take your picture. It looks like you have a jackfruit face! Hilarious!
Avoid

No interest at all

The most rubbish place I have ever been. 30 ringgits to sit on a shuttle, have a plate of fruits, back to the shuttle, 1 or 2 selfies next to a jack fruit, back to the shuttle, last stop to feed fishes and back to the exit. No explanations about fruits, no walk. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND it.

Not worth the Visit
Dec 2019
For the price we paid, I think it's not worth it. I am actually excited about the fruits buffet, but the fruit options are quite limited. Rambutan and Mango was not even in the option. You have to pay for the coconut by the way.

No one welcome us or guide us on what to do upon entering the premises. When we asked one of the staff if we need to wait for a shuttle service, they just told us "I don't know". Which is quite unacceptable answer for me especially if you are a staff of that place. This is the most basic information I would say. And the reason we asked the staff is because when we tried walking, we saw a sign saying "no walking beyond this area". So we assumed that a shuttle service is a must to roam the area. Touris information is also close!

Also, we are expecting a little bit of an fun / informative tour. Rather than just driving us around the farm. You would notice that some of the guest are also bored as they do not even want to go out of the service anymore.

Lacks any information
Nov 2019 • Couples
This is really not good and yet it has so much potential. The site is beautiful but you are whizzed around at high speed, unable to read any of the signs and with a guide who tells you nothing about the fruit. The only thing the guides seem trained to do it try and make you have ridiculous posed photos taken with various dressed up fruits! Such a shame. Could be so good.

Beware also, there are no taxis up here and the venue does not help at all if you can’t get a Grab!

An amazing experience of local fruits direct from farm
Sep 2019
Great place to visit. Easy to access. You can spend there 1 to 2 hours. Entrance fee is RM30 for foreigners and RM10 for locals. It includes an open bus which takes you to a fruit buffet. You can enjoy local fruits buffet for free. Another stop with a fish pond and some small plantations to watch. Here you can enjoy feeding fish and visit fruits and herbs farm.

You will find more than 20 types of fruit trees such as pineapple, pomegranate, starfish, mango and more. Not only that, herbs are also available here. All of the plants produced here can be seen without having to sweat as you will be taken on a cruise.

We found out about this place at the information centre and never saw it mentioned on any websites, which is a shame as it was amazing.
We got to try different tropical fruits (included in the entry price) and saw them growing on the trees.
Our guide was very informative and knew a lot about the different fruits.
Highly recommend this when in Langkawi

Nice fruit!

It is 30 MYR for foreigners. You arrive then are immediately put in an area to wait for a shuttle bus. You are then transported to an area where you get to try what fruit is in season. Then when you are ready you get back on a bus to complete the circuit of the farm. There was no commentary or information given about the farm during the bus trip. The only information was about the fruit on posters in the bus area and on the way out which was interesting to read. It was enjoyable but not really informative or educational. OK if just want to have a ride around and some really yummy fruit.

Great visit to the 'orchard'.

The first time I heard about it, I was pretty much reluctant to go. Langkawi is known mainly for its beaches and cable cars. I questioned myself if i needed to go to an agrotech place. To my surprise, this place has plenty to offer especially if you are bored with the typical touristy things in Langkawi. The ticket included a ride on seated truck, fruits tasting and orchard tour. This is the place to go if you want to see and experience local fruits. As the fruits are seasonal, you can see different types of fruits growing on trees. There are rambutans, durians, mangosteens, jackfruits and other smaller fruits (some unheard of). Our tour master was Mr Megat Azuan, he has good knowledge of the trees and was very entertaining -has some steep sense of humour and made us some origami grasshoppers with the palm leaves.

And in case you're thinking of MARDI Gras, this is not it. 😝.

Toddlers and babies might not be suitable for the truck ride.
