The beach is relatively quiet (if you ignore all the parasailers, jet skis etc) and not very crowded. As some comments mentioned before, there is no shade- so make sure to bring a parasol if you'll be at the beach during noon-afternoon. Even if the beach is beautiful itself, you can see a lot of plastic rubbish- we could see... More

Tengah is a really lovely beach and so much more peaceful than Cenang. We stayed within walking distance so really enjoyed the convenience and the lack of crowds. Obviously there is no shade - its a beach - and there are no fancy resorts right on it yet (except for up the far end) so umbrellas are not provided but... More

This is a lovely beach with nice sand and views over to several small jungle islands. Thankfully it has far fewer people than Pantai Cenang, though building work at its entrance and in the middle disturb the peace a little and harm the ambience. The sea was warm and wave-free but murky. The main drawback is the lack of shade.... More

Tenga is a beautiful quiet beach just south of main Cenang beach. Great coral sand - mostly grainy but sometimes very fine. Only downsides: water sports centre to the right and can be noisy with boats; it can have jelly fish as the whole west coast of Lankgawi.

We spent a couple of days in Langkawi and stayed close by Tengah Beach. We walked by the evening and also in the morning and enjoyed the quietness of the beach and the warm waters. Unfortunately, there's still much rubbish in the area, which is a real shame as the area is really beautiful.

We as a group was staying at the Holiday Villa which fronts onto the beach. We took the opportunity to take a walk on this beautiful beach flanked by palm trees. The samd is white and the beach is clean as not many people come to this beach. The sunset is so beautiful. It is truly a photographers heaven. Beautiful... More

The beach is clean but shallow. The water is not as clear as pantai beras basah, but we enjoyed the sunset in the evening

The Tengah beach area is a quieter version of Cenang beach. The beach is nothing special but there are some nice resorts here. Not much shopping here but at least you can get away from the crowds, noise and jams of Cenang. There are also some great restaurants in this area.

We went here today for a look. It is quiet, clean and really calm. Very nice beach indeed. The have water activities, but the beach is not crowded with them.

I love this beach. Amazing sunset. Not too crowded....few watersport attractions but not too many. Only access to this beach at 3 places and no boulevard. That's why this beach is more quiet than Cenang beach (next beach nearby).
