Great to shop for various craft items. Don't forget to check out the museum especially the craft museum. It was really well done. The wedding museum was pretty comprehensive but a bit run down, unlike the craft museum. Go to Jafiqa Couture for quality batik...More

Shopping is not really my thing, but I was taken with this complex. My wife thought that the hand made costume jewellery was particularly good - about a quarter of the cost of buying in the UK, even with the pound rate so low.

In a beautiful building is this complex of shops with traditional handicrafts and items to purchase. There is a glass-blowing studio further down where they will demonstrate their amazing skills. Definitely worth a visit!
