This very large park has a number of historical myth stories carried out in sign and design statues, etc. That was interesting, the park is mostly clean - littered somewhat. The sad part is the water features are not to be enjoyed due to lack of rain. That is sad. The upside was our stumbling upon a troop of Dusky Leaf monkeys passing through. Got a great video of a momma carrying her baby up a tree while the others frolicked in the area. That was Awesome!!!

The park is bigger than it looks from the road following the waterfront all the way to the mosque. It is kept exceptionally clean and thus free from monkeys unlike other public areas on the island. An excellent view over the Eagle statue opens up from the hill where the wrestling hands emerge from ground. There are other legends behind several cryptic looking monuments like the ring.

When we visited in 2015, the park was already being left to fall to pieces but there was something about it that made us want to go back. It had been raining heavily on our second visit and the pathways were flooded, which put some people off. The park must have originally had a lot of time and money poured into it as it is quite a large area with several sculptures and wooden structures. It is now in a state of disrepair, neglected and forgotten. It is a bit like exploring a ruin and that’s why we like it so much. The range of bird and animal life is wonderful, with wild: hornbills, monitor lizards, beautiful butterflies and dragonflies. We also saw sea eagles from the lovely sandy beach at the edge of the park. Depends what you want from a park but, would recommend to those who just want to explore a little and enjoy wildlife.

Really didn't get this at all. Looked at the entrance map, looked at the signage and still had no motivation or direction of how to negotiate the park. And much of the signage is unreadable which didn't help. Settled therefore to sit ourselves on a bench by the water, with a couple of drinks and some snacks and watched the park come alive with after work, keep fit enthusiasts. Like them we did go up the small hill for a better view but actually just sitting & watching was the best time of all. Look out for the squirrels - great acrobatics!

This place has all but closed down from being the 'Legenda Park'. The entrance is still there, but almost every single sculpture has been taken away (we found the remains of two legend sculptures during our visit), all the legend information boards are gone now. Really, it is now just a small pretty park to stroll around, it is no longer a garden of legends. Which is sad, because I would've loved to read about the legends. It originally opened in 1996, and I wish I could've seen it then because I'm sure it was amazing. But the sculptures were not maintained and eventually had to be taken away for safety. The park itself is clean and is beautiful... I was just so disappointed because I had expected to see legends.

Basic sea side park, that would be a miss f it wasn't for the fact that so many Horn Bills sit in the trees above your hgead. I have never been so close or seen so many as this spot - enjoy!

Legenda park is well worth a visit to break up the lying on beaches and shopping. It can be found s short walk from Eagle Square so it is ideal to do both attractions at the same time. Legenda park like the title suggests is a pleasant park with ponds and streams trees and large sculptures dotted around.
It is a lovelly place to have a stroll and gives you some good photo opportunities.

You can even take some photos looking across the bay and across to Eagle Square.
The last visit was great, I had some really effective photos of reflections in the ponds, unfortunately Langkawi is having a bit of a drought and the ponds are extremely low and dried up in places, as are the streams. A lot of the grass is also going brown.
However it was still nice to walk through, and view some of the sculptures.

We went walking through the park and found so many avenues and displays.
The playground is fantastic for kids.
The park area has beautiful ponds, creeks, and statues.
A beautiful place for a picnic or just a wonder. The private beach in the park is also lovely and calm, so a great place for small kids.

This place is just a typical garden. I think only suitable to go there for jogging on early morning. I heard this park is open from 8am to 11pm. We went there at about 9am+. The sun is burning. We walked into the park, took some pictures and left with disappointment.

I heard there is an entrance fee of RM5 per pax but when we were there, the park is too quiet and we didn't noticed any ticketing counter thus we just entered the park. Luckily, we were not charged. It's totally not worthy at all.

Tips: This park is near to Eagle Square (Langkawi's most significant landmark). From this park, you can take nice scenery photos consists of Eagle Square, Kuah jetty, ferries, blue sea and sky from far.
