A must visit local market selling costume jewellery, household items, clothes and beautiful and colourful batik sarongs. Prices are negotiable and the women sellers willing to give at discounted rate. The sarongs were mostly made in Kelantan and Terengganu.

One of the old markets that offer a wide range of traditional items such as traditional cooking utensils and food. It is also a place for the natives to buy their ingredients to cook daily.

Big space, relatively dry market. The view from the second floor overlooking the centre court was quite nice, with traders laid out throughout the area. Good place to check out local produce.

I think there is a bus service from Besut to KB. The Pasar SK is hardly a 100 yards away. If there isn't , take a bus or cab to Jerteh or Pasir Puteh, thereafter take bus to KB.
