We booked for a private tour for all day, because we saw in the Lonely Planet guide that Cameron Eco organises private original tours with special guides full of knowledge. The driver, a student making this activity as a second job, came to pick us up at the hôtel and just dropped us in several places, giving us some time to take pictures and visit (sometimes, some basic informations). He never came with us to any visit. Honestly, for the price (880 RM), it's not worth to book a tour with them. Book a taxi for the day and you will have the same service but pay around 150 RM only.
I was expecting to find myself in places with no other tourists, expected to do a nice walk in the forest, as I read this company is the only one to have access to some path. Instead of this, we were always with many other tourists, all dropped in the same points, even in the tea plantation, which are big enough to avoid this!
So really I don't recommend. There is nothing special that justifies the high price like this. You will lose your money and time.
Very disappointing.

We did the full-day experience tour. Our driver, a student who does these tours as a side job, picked us up at our hotel in a Land Rover. He took us to all the stops described in the tour program and gave us some basic information about the Cameron Highlands. So far, so good. What we hadn't expected was that at most of the stops he simply dropped us off and waited for us without any more in-depth explanations.
The best part of the tour was the mossy forest, a mystical rainforest with lots of rare plants, even though there were 100 other tourists there.
What really puzzled us was why there were stops like the butterfly farm on an "eco" tour, which definitely has nothing to do with "eco". There were lots of animals (not just butterflies and insects), most of them kept in small cages.
Don't expect to see Rafflesia as they don't grow in Cameron Highlands and Eco Cameron doesn't offer tours to the place where they grow, as we understood.
All in all, it felt like having a private driver to the most famous tourist spots in Cameron Highlands, but the nature experience was pretty poor.

We booked the explorer tour and had a fantastic day trip with our guide Hemee.
We first went to the BOH tea Plantage and then to the mossy forest. The tea Plantage was interesting to see and drink a tea there. The mossy forest was impressive as you walk there on a guided track.
The last part was a hike with our guide.
All of the time we got a lot of insides from Hemee about the nature, different plants, animals and about CH. We talked a lot and had a wonderful time here. We recommend this explorer tour 100%.

Amazing tour with Hemy! He was an absolute amazing tour guide and had such great insight on the local plants and wildlife. Very nice to go on a tour with someone who is obviously so passionate about the local nature which made it even more engaging whilst trekking. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Cameron Highlands.

We did the half day tour in the afternoon of coral hill and the tea plantation and had a really enjoyable day! Our tour guide Hemy was so lovely and very knowledgable about all the plants and animal species in the area. My friends and I all had an amazing time, I would highly recommend this tour and great value for money :)

We went on a full day tour and it was great! Our guide was wonderful and provided us with insightful information throughout the tour. He also took some nice photos and videos for us, which was great. The te plantation was beautiful, and the jungle trekking was fun. We did not find the hike too challenging, but it is worth noting that it can get a bit muddy (wear appropriate shoes). A great way to spend the day in Cameron Highlands, would recommend.

We took up the Full Day explorer tour. All was arranged online seamlessly before our arrival. It was a wonderful day out with the experience guide, Heme. He shared all the knowledges on the flora and fauna that were in abundance along our trek. The forest trek could a little strenuous and muddy for some, therefore, go prepared with proper hiking boots and wet weather attire. Heme, not only experience in his field, he was the inspiration for some of us to overcome our fear of height, esp. when we reached the one of the highest peak in Cameron Highlands, at 1,580m above sea level.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature.

Did a half day tour to Coral Hill mossy forest and BOH tea plantation. The other mossy forest at Brinchang was closed while I was there, so the tour guide brought us to the one at Coral Hill instead. The hike up was wonderful and he was very knowledge about all the plants and animals there, and showed us and allowed us to touch and smell a lot of the unique plants there. The walk is a bit strenuous so make sure you bring some decent hiking shoes or shoes you dont mind getting muddy after - it seems the more people hiking up there the muddier it gets.

BOH tea plantation was beautiful as well and you get about an hour of your own time to explore the place and have some tea and pastries.

Overall highly recommend Eco Cameron tours to experience some nature.

We went for a half day coral hill walk (2.5hrs of walking) and a quick trip to the Boh tea plantation. It was excellent - really proactive whatsapp communication, timely pickup (08:30), excellent condition land rover and really knowledgeable guide (Hemy). We had 2 boys (7yr and 9yr) with us - and whilst it says ‘moderate to hard’ it was well within their capacity. Totally recommend eco Cameron - well done!

This efficient tour was surprisingly informative. Highly knowledgeable and friendly guide with a background in ecology and excellent 4x4 skills (necessary) made this trip highly worth the value for money. Tea plantations are beautiful, mossy forest was fascinating and the tea factory has great cake. You won’t be disappointed by this tour if you need to pack the essentials of Cameron Highlands into half a day.
