We stopped off here en route to The Cameron Highlands. It was a lovely sunny day and we took some pleasing photos. There are quite a few stalls on the side of the road selling both food and souvenirs but no pressure.

I was amazed by the scenery and the nature. The water is clean and cold. The place is not crowded (i visited on weekends midday and it was nice). Many local food kiosk around. Banans are amazing, you gotta get a bunch. Take off your shoes and sleeve up you pants for a nice food immersion in the cold streaming water. Washrooms (tandas) are available around (between the local shops) so if you have extra clothes and can change you can enjoy a full body indulgence in the fast falling water. Parking is a bit hard as there are no places for it and u have to line up at the very sides of the narrow road.

Nice cool place to take a short break when driving up to Cameron Highlands.
Get up close to the waterfall and have fun with the nice cold water.
Many shops around selling food, drinks and local handmade stuffs.
A place not to be missed !!!
Hidden gem !!!

Stopped by here in March. What a joke, and a disappointment. The "Falls" are actually only a few feet high, and empty into a small basin laden with trash and rubbish everywhere, both up and down the river. Small, short, poorly maintained trails line both sides of the stream feeding the "falls", trash along the entire way. Nothing to see there either. Beside the falls are one or two questionable looking small food stalls that don't look all that inviting. Talk or suggestions elsewhere of possibly even swimming here can't be taken seriously. Don't waste your time here.

It was on our way down and the waterfall located on the right. There are many local stalls along the road. The view is just amazing. I went there just right after raining. the water was cold and fast. It was during school holiday so it is a little bit crowded but still the view is something to capture and if you have time to take a dip in the cold and fresh pool. Just be careful of the current.

If this is the falls we visited then it is an excellent visit. I believe it is also known by its Malay name 'Air Terjun Iskandar'. On th way up to Cameron Highlands, it is an excellent introduction to the area. Dip your feet into the cool water and take a few photo souvenir. Great visit.

Water falls surrounded with high hill trees
All green everywhere
They have good wood market for wooden objects, good for photography but you need to watch your steps

Thompson waterfall or Parit waterfall is a really small waterfall located between Tanah Rata and Brinchang. I took trail no 4 beside Century Pines Resort.

Thompson Falls is a lovely place to stop off as you climb up the Cameron Highlands. You can see it from the road and a viewing point with rails offers a great photo opportunity.
You can hike up steps beside them too for a better view. Very peaceful pkace and nkt very criwded on our vidht.
The story of Jim Thompson's disappearance in the region is a fascinating one, best told to you by a local!
