Unique landscape. Try early morning. When i climbed up the mountain was covered with mist. Watchout, very slippery. You are not allowed to continue from mossy forest without a guide. I do not reccomend either. The track is wet slippery and no steps as in...More

First visit, though I have been to Cameron Highlands for at least 45 years. Good for first-time visitors. I will give it a miss in future unless I am bringing some new friends.

The drive up was quite interesting with winding and narrow roads. Along the way we could see vegetable and tea plantations. At the base of the start of trek, ample parking space but no toilets. Weather was cool. They have wooden steps to walk up...More

Make sure you ask your guide to take you to the other tour activities first if there's fog in the morning; otherwise, you will not enjoy this place as much. Our guide, Ken from Golden Highlands was very knowledgeable and helped identify medicinal plants.

We booked our tour through our hotel for a very reasonable price. We were collected In a land rover to go to the mossy forest. We paid for a full day package when in actual fact the half day would have been better. The view...More

The Mossy Forest consists of numerous steps which make up the boardwalk. The moss grows in abundance here because of the heavy moisture in the air which makes the board walkway quite slippery. Sports shoes with a good tread... More

I strongly recommend either go with a tour (that uses jeep/4WD vehicles) or drive equivalent vehicles to Mossy Forest. Although it is a paved road, it had too many potholes and very uneven; there's one section of the road... More
