Ipoh's judiciary is a typical colonial building. The white complex is an impressive presence in downtown. Unfortunately it is not open to public.

Plenty of attractive colonial era architecture to admire in Ipoh. The High Court, Railway Station and Town Hall are the best of the government buildings. Of the 3, the High Court is probably in the best positions and offers some good photo opportunities.

The Ipoh High Court consists of 2 main buildings. If you stand in front, facing the main entrance, the building on the right is the original HIgh Court that was built before World War II. The building on the left is new and was tastefully designed to match the architecture of the old building. Nearby are two buildings, the Town Hall and the Railway Station, with the same architectural design as the old High Court building. It seems all three buildings are designed by the same architect in the late 1920's.

Ipoh High Court is another good colonial building in the area around the station. As it's a working court you can't visit inside.

This building is situated in the heart of Ipoh old town. To be more exact, this place is located in front of Ipoh railway station. This building design is very nice and it really reflect back on those colony days.
