Good to see. The colonial architechture really pulls me, but it is so hot that most people just stay in their cars. Don't know much about this building, don't know if you can visit it.

It was good to see and set in a lovely open area with lots of other things to see as you wander around old Ipoh.

A nice colonial building. You can only take photo from the outside. Would be good to have a tour inside.

We took the electric train from Kuala Lumpur, a trip for two seniors. It was very comfortable and we had plenty of time to potter around in Ipoh from the morning . Such a trip was really a good idea. We visited the town hall and the old post office, the first time ever and found the old British colonial architecture inspiring. As it was a holiday there were not many people around. So the space and the ambiance were just wonderful. We walked along the corridors and imagined the 1930's folks walking amongst us. Terrific experience.

This is another of the set of attractive colonial buildings in central Ipoh, including the high court and the railway station. They're all quite close together and can be easily visited via a short walk. Not too much traffic around on a Sunday which makes it a bit easier to click photos.

Early morning visiting old buildings built during British colonial era around Ipoh old town. Nearby is a mosque, Birch memorial tower, railway station, etc. All within walking distance. Many food outlets with delicious Ipoh food around this area too.

A must to visit at Ipoh Town Centre, from day to night, there are many nice local foods you must try. Chicken noodles soup, soy bean curd, traditional pastry. Beware of crowd during weekend where trafic might be bad. Rule of thumbs - always be early.
