About
“Seong Man” is a teahouse (vegetarian & muslim-friendly) in Ipoh, Malaysia. A place where we share our love for local and oriental traditional art, crafts & cultures. It's also a space for art exhibitions and cultural events. We mainly serve tea and desserts (and meals on weekends). Calm and soothe your mind while enjoying your tea time at Seong Man, appreciate the beauty of oriental antiques and local vintage furniture. We are located close to the Mural Art's Lane in Ipoh New Town. Just a 10-minute-walk from Ipoh Old Town area. You can get our location from Google Map or Waze too, by searching "Seong Man Ipoh".

I visited this shop thinking that it's a cafe. To my surprise, it was an oriental tea house! Such a beautiful ambience, and I really liked their desserts. I would say this is one of the places that I would visit again the next time I visit Ipoh.

The best place to visit to try traditional and authentic teas and desserts. We had alot of tea in ipoh, this place left a lasting impression, the white flower tea, perfect purple ang ku kueh and the cheese cake tea set for 2 was a delight and the best part was that it was vegetarian (desserts without any eggs). Its a must try and if I could I would definitely visit again.

Staffs are friendly! Tried their vegetarian lunch set , which is very flavourful and tasty . Their desserts are not overly sweet , perfect to my taste , will come again :)

Cozy and laid-back ambience with the sense of serenity and tranquility, once stepped into the shop. With soothing Chinese oldies at the background, decorated with antique wooden furniture, vintage delicate teapot sets, exquisite wooden carvings, an authentic feel for capturing the oriental vibe.
It is a pity that the food weren’t reflected in either the taste or texture. The quality of food were below average and tasteless, rather bland with disappointing.

This place is just incredibly amazing, the food is hmm mmm, just nice. The drinks are, oh my god, absolutely heaven. The environment, hell yeah, love those old style aestatic design, and all those antiques, oh god, so cultured. This whole place is a paradise of culture.

Nice environment. Delicious food and good tea. Dessert not too sweet. We enjoyed our lunch and spent time to enjoy the tea, white peony.

Have been a big fan following their instagram. Such a tasteful place and nicely curated stuff. Their staffs were so nice that that she treated me for some tea tasting. Loved their Nuo Mi Xiang Pu-erh tea. Wanted to try their cold drinks but were sold out at the time I visited.
