My family spent 2 days in the Lost World. The trip was great, the activities were great and so was the surrounding scenery. The crew that were working in the site were great and managed to get around fairly easily.

The park seems to be promoting the concept of recycling, green waste management etc, but the only thing that my family was not happy about was the check at the entrance and the request not to bring any drinking water in. Reluctantly, my family who had full water bottles of drinking water had to throw them away before entering.

I find this is totally against the whole green policy - it is absolutely pointless to be asking their customers to throw their water away with the only option to buy plastic bottles !! I had a long conversation with the person checking my bag and said it was such a ridiculous idea but only to be told they were doing their duties. I hope this policy will change at some point, but other than that it was a great experience.

It's more than a water park! Start with the petting Zoo, lots of animals in there (Tips: buy the Jumbo size animal feed) it's really fun feeding the animals. There is mini Birds Park, Adventurous Swamp with Aligators and crocodiles!

Move along and You get to feed Giraffe, Hippos and Zebra. Tiger too!

There are some fun coaster ride and a haunted house (for those who dare).

Then you get yourself wet in the "river cruise in a float, go pass the dragon lair!". There are plenty of water slides and a wave pool too, party with DJ starts at 6.00!"

"And also hot spring inside is a little bit foggy and make sure that you (the management of the park) clean the the hot spring, because when my daughter was swimming inside the hot spring it was so foggy that she couldn't see where she was swimming and scratched herself and now there is a huge scar on her knee and now she is having a little difficulty on walking😅" - belongs to my daughter's review.

(Hmm.. to be fair, it was raining and it's an open park with trees around, so don't expect the water to be crystal clear.)

Well, no matter what my daughter said, she enjoyed a lot at the hot spring area. Yes, I said area because there are a few pools for the hot spring.

And don't missed out the Luminous Forest, opens at 8.00 p.m.

The night park closes pretty late ard 10.00 (if not later)

P/s: Thanks Shan (the hotel staff at Lost World Hotel) for helping with my luggage.

We did a business training in Malayana 3. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Both Lavenya and Aaron were very very helpful understanding & respectful. Lavenya called us a day before our arrival and confirmed all relevant details, she was also in communication with us through the event which made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. Aaron was also very prompt in making changes and accommodating to our small request. The Hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The food - amazing!!

Went to LWoT for 3d 2n children’s camp. Used the hotel, ballroom and theme park facilities. Amazing view and location. Great hotel and theme park- all within walking distance. Hotel staff were helpful. Hotel food and catering was okay and can be better (some dishes were salty/spicy- can lessen these). Theme park was great and clean. We watched the flaming percussion show. Amazing skills and showmanship. The area of the show, especially seating for audience was slightly cramped. This can be improved for guest to sit comfortably rather than standing during the show. Waterpark was great fun and all equipped with helpful lifeguard. All in all, not bad and enjoyable place to bring family and children to LWoT.

Our recent company trip to the Lost World of Tambun was an unforgettable experience. Lavanya, who assisted us from day 1, always made sure everything ran smoothly. She is very responsible about her work and can always handle last-minute requests. Thanks to her hard work.

We chose to visit Ipoh mainly because of the theme park and it didn't disappoint. The highlight for our young daughter was the petting zoo. It's very extensive and there are many close-up interactions available - not just guinea pigs and ponies but even deer and capybaras! It's unique. You just need to supervise children to ensure the animals are respected, as there is so much freedom.

There are also other animals including tigers in a more traditional zoo environment, water slides and a large number of hot spring pools which the whole family enjoyed.
We stayed at the attached hotel because of proximity and free access to the night hot springs. It was comfortable without being amazing, but very convenient if you want to maximise time at the park.

I would say it’s one of the nice theme park in Malaysia but many things got to be improved.

First, the variety of food and pricing. Portion are small but pricey. We tried the taufufah, cucu r udang, keropok lekor, all tasted very average. Please have more option of healthy food rather than hot dogs and pop corns since outside food is not allowed.

Not many places to sit too since it’s a peak season. Should provide more tables and chairs.

Lastly, please train the staff especially those stationed at Ipoh Street stalls to be more cheerful and friendly. Most of them looks sad, unhappy like they were forced to work.

What is nice about this theme park is the Fire Show. Worth waiting at 9pm to watch the show. Also not forgetting, the Luminous Forest 🌳

Definitely one of our favorite places to enjoy water activities. Slides, lazy river, wave pool, hot springs - all awesome. Since they do not allow food/water items to be brought in, water fountains would be great to be placed every 100 m apart, same for trash bins. Pricing water at RM5 a bottle of water is pretty excessive.

Hot pools were much cooler than before......climate change ? The guy taking the water temperature said the measurement showed the temperature was 1 C below that stated on the placard.

Best spot was the steam cave, where the water temperature was almost normal....since the natural hot spring flowed out from there.

The animal exhibits were also great attractions, and a hit with kids.

Great value for $$

This was my first experience working with the Sunway Lost World of Tambun team, and I was genuinely impressed by their suggestions, pre-event briefing and arrangements. The overall experience was excellent! The meet-and-greet service led by Aaron was outstanding. Special thanks to Patrick, Yoon Kit, Sham, Naim, and many other team members who made our staff retreat a memorable trip.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from staff retreat, but Yoon Kit proposed an agenda and we followed, and it turned out to be perfect for our group of 42 participants. The welcoming tea break was simple paired with warm hospitality. The adventurous race, featuring five fun and engaging stations, was a hit with everyone. We also thoroughly enjoyed the night fire show and the hot springs theme park.

The following morning's jungle walk and limestone trail to Gua Datok were simply breathtaking. It was a great opportunity for staff bonding and engagement.

The hotel were clean and well-maintained. The buffet meals and beverages were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. I recommend shopping for their signature white coffee and popcorn at the Kedai Runcit.

The staff were friendly, responsive, and incredibly patient, always ready to accommodate our needs. A big thank you to the LWOT team for making this experience so seamless.

I highly recommend Sunway Lost World of Tambun for corporate team-building events or group trips!
