Revisited the hot springs 30 years later but now as a new and beautifully landscaped full-service retreat. Arrival was met by genuinely warm staff who whisked us to our suite with both a private dipping pool and hot spring tub. Room was nicely decorated and adorned, although somewhat eclectically, but with all the amenities that a modern traveller would expect from a high-end resort, viz. multiple charging stations and super-fast wifi that permitted unfettered zooming. Our suite had access to a dining table and large and comfortable sitting area that allowed us to entertain visitors. Bed and bathroom areas were well laid out, spacious, and comfortable; everything worked well and products were of high quality. Access to a private hot spring pool was a nice feature that we partook and enjoyed frequently. There were 2 TVs but the selection and quality of the programs were poor. The property had a number of interesting caves that provided some distraction and entertainment and arguably instagram-able pictures. Partook a "long" session at the spa facility, which lay-out was also very nicely designed - however, service provided was below expectations; I sensed the masseur's discomfort with what she was doing. Ate at the Pomelo restaurant for breakfast and 1 dinner that provided a wide selection of local dishes. The offerings were tasteful but could be of a much higher quality - that reflects the reputation of the renowned Ipoh restaurants. Overall, a very good experience and would revisit if looking for a quiet getaway. I should note that all the staff with whom we interacted with were wonderful - although some could benefit with additional training (restaurant and spa).

After a couple of days doing jungle trails in Cameron Highlands this was the perfect intermezzo. It is expensive to stay for the night so we called whether we could stay for the day and make use of the public facilities. You can! For 350RM you can enter from 10AM to 7PM. This includes a voucher for 150RM you can spend in the park (e.g on a massage).

We had the park almost to ourselves and went swimming in the natural heated pools and hot springs. And visited the steam cave that is also naturally heated. Our all time favorite were the fish that nibble at your feet!

The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel really at ease. They offered delicious ginger/lemon tea and water.

This is a must to visit if you're in the neighborhood. But prepare to spend some money!

Went for body massage on the 7Jan19.

It was one of the worst body massage that I ever had ! For the price of RM600 per hour, I felt cheated, the therapist's skill was lousy. All three therapists that did for my friend ( a local from Ipoh), my mum and I were incompetent.

They didn't wear mask, their hands motion were not continuous so one feels stoppages all the time during the massage, took a long time (to prepare ? or ??) in between body and face massage and the oil used smells "old", leaving one's body greasy and heavy after the massage.

The receptionist was un-professional. All that mattered is to collect payment after our massage; without even checking on guests' satisfaction of the service. I was left speechless, shocked to the extreme to find this kind of service standard in a 5 star resort.

This a beautiful resort in a fantastic location but it is very expensive. We took the opinion of buyong a day pass ( it included food vouchers). The lunch we had at the restaurant was the best we had in Malaysia. Everything about this resort is wonderful. Even if you don't dire there, visit the wine cellar restaurant- one of the world's most amazing restaurants design.

The accolades showered upon the resort is generous and I am happy to add to this. I am glad to have chosen to stay at this resort with 3 of my elders whom had lovely memories of the area many decades before the resort was built.

Needless to say, the friendly staffs made our stay a very comfortable one. My elders , some of whom are in their eighties , were treated with the utmost care and respect which made them feel at ease very quickly.

Having just arrived from the town of Ipoh, the resort is an oasis, it’s serenity quickly slowed down our pace and we settled in to its cozy villas after an extensive introduction of its many offerings. My elders were especially pleased with the friendly buggy service that brought us around the fairly extensive resort.

Much have already been shared about the spa and food & beverages services and I am pleased to add that they were thoroughly enjoyed by my party. The resort had trained the staff to serve with a heart and this is delivered daily without fail by the majority of the staff we had interacted with. The gem amongst them is surely Mr Yoga whom shared a lesson on meditation with us; suggest you do this on your first day to take advantage of the serenity of the resort.

I look forward to returning to this resort with both friends and family.

Having travelled to several well known luxury resorts in different parts if the world this one tops the lot.
The staff from manager to the hard working groundsmen are amazing, always a smile and greeting like no other.

The villas are perfect in every way.

The amazing Jeff's Cellars cave restaurant and Pomelo Restaurant at resort also deserve a five star mention ***** well done.
Coming from hospitality background for over 20 years we know how hard these people work to make your stay a memorable one.
So thank you Alex, Raymond and your dedicated crew
