The center of the park can be accessed with a boat ride that only takes 5 minutes. Features an artificial waterfall by the entrance with a 3 ringgit admission. They offer a tour around the park with a cart for 10 ringgits but is better to walk around on foot if you’re fit enough.

There is not much to visit unless you are photogenic or have kids then you can consider this place. You may take the boat to cross the lake to visit. The cost will be RM3 per person. There are few animals to visit if you cross the lake. And need to wait for the return boat if you are too bored to visit there. The man-made waterfall is closed for a visit. So nothing much to visit here. For us is a waste of time to wait for the boat.

I only have one comment to make which is about the animals there.....especially the ponies...
They look rather thin and when I was there today the 3 ponies looked hungry and one pony was nibbling on the sand. There wasnt any food or water for them. Hope the Ipoh Town Council could look into this matter immediately

We took a boat to go to that Recreational Area of Gunung Lang.
Some of the Traditional Malay Houses are not well maintained.
And also we encountered some littering with plastic drinks and straws.
We discovered some area near to other lake with small caves.
It was quite fascinating place.

Only things you can see here are the waterfall and petting zoo. Boat ride always seems to close for maintenance, which I don't know what this "maintenance" is, but we've been here twice and it happened twice, which to me, it's aggravating. At least waterfall was soothing and nice.

I have been in Taman Rekreasi Gunung Lang 3 weeks ago. It was nice place to relax and view nice panaroma. It was Public Holiday and a lot of people came with the same reason, it was long queue to get the boat from jetty to island.Over all ok

Went to the TRGL on 2nd Aug 2020 with families. arrived at 10.00 am. Beautiful nature and setting but no boats available until 2.30 pm. 10 minutes of walking at the main park and nothing to experience except the water fall. So we left early without seeing the so call attractive island. Park maintenance was not as good as it should be.

The restaurant was crowded and unpleasant. Perhaps need to upgrade the park at the main entrance with other elements so that the waiting would not be so bored.

I enjoyed exploring this beautiful park and lake area. You get a return boat over to the other side for only 3 ringgit. There's some cool places to see and smaller caves. Beware of filming monkeys as one charged me!

Easy to find. By the entrance into Ipoh. Boat ride was RM3 per adult. Too short of a ride though. Park is nicely maintained. No pets allowed. No food stalls. No kissing allowed! Few animals in cages. I hope they are fed properly. Nothing much to see. Landscape is nice.

If not enough time to stay in Ipoh, no need to go here, nothing attractive to visit, just a mini zoo and poorly maintained playground. We buy tickets for boat ride, luckily no need to wait long time for the boat.
