Greeted by the museum ambassador for a free tour outside the museum as we passed by.
The journey of Ho Yan Hor was neatly arranged and easy for understanding.
Most importantly, grounded and inspiring!
We bought the tea back and it helps so much especially so during such hot weather. And continued to purchase more teas from their official website at Shopee msia.
Would be awesome if all flavours are sold in Singapore as well.
Anyway, would recommend to anyone coming to Ipoh!

The museum was a well thought out and insightful exhibition of Dr Ho’s work, and also Ho Yan Hor herbal tea. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and made the visit very smooth. A good way to spend time given the hot weather in Ipoh!

Though unplanned (I didn’t know about the museum before going) I loved my time here. Lovely guide, interesting exhibit and you get to taste all the teas they make.

Very friendly member of staff did a brief introduction of the museum and we then did a self tour of the house of Ho Yan Hor, his life and how we started his therapeutic tea business. It’s very inspiring.
We then had free tea tasting, very interesting and informative.

Another top class museum in Ipoh! Kudos to the team for maintaining the building well, and led a wonderful tour experience. The museum is equipped with detailed backstory on how the founder started the brand, and also his backstory.

Building was the exact place where the brand started, so it is 100++ years old! staff told us to be careful and be gentle to everything in the museum as things are inherited from way before.

The volunteer docent is so well versed! The tour is awesome we learnt a lot about Ipoh early days during the mining era. Highly recommend! As the tour is free I encourage visitors to moe generous with the donation as this is a private self-funding museum with no admission fee for visitors. The fund will be a great help for maintaining and up keep the heritage building!
Overall it is well maintain !

An inspirational place to visit. Did not expect a place this small could have so much to offer.

Short trip that worth your time.
