We really enjoy their teas for health and wanted to learn a little more about them. This was a nice little side trip during a day trip to Ipoh. If you do enjoy healthy teas this is a good place to visit while enjoying the many places in Ipoh

It is my first time that I visit a museum after high school.

Interesting place as only that day I know that Ho Yan Hor is made in Ipoh.

Visit you this museum is free and you can see all the old items and history.

After the visit, they will treat you to try on their improve drink. Must try!!! You won’t regret.

Walking into the museum and learnt of the history behind this famous herbal tea was truly an eye-opening to the founder's 'hear't and hard work.

The Ipoh HoYanHor Musume is one of my very enjoyable spots in Ipoh. The blue building has an old-fashioned flavour. The museum docent was also very good at explaining things and she could speak English, Chinese and Cantonese. It was also very encouraging to learn the story of the founder. And you can get herbal tea and a bunch of freebies for $20 after the tour! Well worth a visit.

If you like some biographies of successful people, this will be a great place for you. I personally love museums as they allow me to feel the olden days. This will be one of the museums that I highly recommend tourists to explore. You do not have to pay a single penny, and there are complimentary drinks at the end of the tour. A kind reminder, do book a place once you have reached there before you go for "yamcha," especially during festival seasons.

Never been to this place even though we frequented ipoh. Drop by since it’s somewhere near concubine lane. Small but interesting place. Staffs are friendly and pleasant. It’s like going back to the yesteryears, the architecture and kitchen, eyes opening for your kids.. There are tea samplings at the end of the tour. Get to know more bout this local Chinese herbal tea more.
