The museum is closed for repairing during our visit on 9 Februari 2017. Hopefully it will get it done soon and reopen for public

Went to Lumut 3/12//16, heard so much about this muzeum, since I've never been on board a warship before was really looking forward to see it. What a disappointment because it was closed. The wooden boardwalk leading to the ship looks dilapidated and probably dangerous. Found out from a navy friend it was closed due to poor maintenance.

This is the type of tourist attraction that you don't go to everyday so it's worth having a look when you are in Lumut. However there are some serious issues that stop me from giving the highest recommendation. Considering that they are charging an admission fee, there doesn't seem to be much spent on maintenance. The inside is stuffy and... More

After reading few reviews and having some time on out hand, we drove to the Maritime Museum. It wasn't over crowded and we spent some time inside the ship to see what life was of the soldiers who spent their time inside it during war. Interesting to see and imagine the life. The ship is well kept but the information... More

This is a must visit if you are around sitiawan or lumut. The ship is an interesting explore, though it might be hard for kids or old people to climb inside the ship, otherwise just follow the main floor. The ship need some keeping though, as some place is rusty and the toilet really need some fixing.

Not many get a chance to see and explore a Navy battleship. The Rahmat maritime musuem offers its visitors full access to discover for themselves what the insides of a battleship looks like. Tip: They offer discounts on entrance fees during school holidays. Best part of visit: Exploration- you get to go almost everywhere throughout the ship (from the top... More

This is a great place to explore - a retired navy vessel. One can enter all areas - engine room, low ranking staff quarters, canteen, entertainment area, sick bay etc to get a feel of how life is being in the navy. Even the toilets onboard are clean. While this place needs some maintenance, perhaps the amount of visitors are... More

wrong address. Its located at titi panjang area. Desa manjung raya is a housing area. Overall is a nice expriences for the kids but the warship need to be more well maintain and add in some more item to give it more life rather then just a skeleton.

This is actually a former war ship, decommissioned and turned into a museum. Please ensure you bring your kids to this place. KD Rahmat is the ship name. You get to see how big the ship is and how complicated life can be working on board. You will have access to engine rooms, wiring room, kitchen, staff room, bridges, basement... More
