Teluk Nipah(Nipah beach), on the western side of Pangkor island(Pulau Pangkor), offers white sand, good seaview and smallscale local restaurants and small shops for beachlife items. The nearby Coral beach(Teluk Coral) just few minutes north of Nipah beach is a much better choice.

The beach was probably very pretty before... More

Many budget hotels n chalet pricing from usd20 to usd30, these are budget accomudations,so don't expect a 5 star treatment.Very busy during weekends.Numerous foodstalls ,mainly seafood, fried/ steam/ grilled/ burnt - very very tasty n reasonably price. What is supposed to be a nice natural beach setting is completely spoiled by rows of hawker stalls being built right on the beach itself! Why would people bother visiting the beach when there's no real beach to boast about?? The sea is also littered with food and garbage obviously from the hawker stalls right next to it. The entire... At Teluk Nipah, there are still laid-back spots away from the watersports shops(more noisy & packed) so a traveller looking to relax, can still find spots to lay down or swim.. but I still found the waters outside Uptown Beach Resort to be clearer & cleaner..
