It has varieties of hand made souvenir stalls there, from jewellery, handbags, to even hand made foods & drinks. Rumah Kacha by the Kapit's and a japanese style stationery shop also located in it. A best place for hipster!

This is a great Sunday venue for either a solo traveler or all the family with varied art and craft stalls and a number of excellent food and drink outlets. Along with play areas for the children
A must to visit on a sunday

For those who grew up in Penang, we can remember the rustic 'Hin' buses thronging our streets; a main mode of public transportation even since the aftermath of World War 2. With the modern and sleeker 'Rapid' bus taking over the bus trade, the Hin Bus Depot closed its doors in 1999.

Old, dilapidated and rustic, this place has in the recent years evolved into an artist's playground. Beautiful backdrops with art totally typical of Ernest Zacharevic's style is scattered throughout. This spot has become a very 'instagrammable' must-go-to place in Georgetown, Penang.

This photoshoot was done with 2 personal friends who are young and confident entrepreneurs. I thoroughly enjoyed this photoshoot.

Changing the landscape from a potential scrap yard to an unique creative center. Providing opportunities for creativity and small businesses. Also a great idea for creative tourism. When we visited still more creative cafes and stores are being opened up. Great street art and murals for photo shoots. The Rumah Kacha Cafe is a nice place for a drink and rest your feet.

This is such a fun place to visit - especially on weekends when they have their artisan market. They have some good restaurants and cafes on site too.

Hin bus depot is a repurposed , you guessed it , bus depot. On a regular day , it's worth a quick stop to see the murals and cafes within the grounds but by sunday , it turns into a vibrant market selling locally made crafts and food, with live performances gracing the afternoon.

Must try the home made cakes (RM5 to RM10) , coffee (RM 12) as well as locally brewed rice wine (tuak) (RM 5 a shot). Special mention to the owners of the stalls that engage you with the stories of their crafts especially Alistair, who will show you the proper way of consuming Tuak , traditional Bornean style.

Quite small but an interesting selection of stalls, food and entertainment. We had some gorgeous strawberry ice lollies and bought some craft items.

All the stuff you can find here is hand-made by locals or expads, whether it is food, cakes, hand crafted art, bags, shirts and so on. There's also a music program with the market and some very nice street art. It is every sunday between 11am and 5pm.

We were here during the week. We loved this quiet artistic hidden spot in the crowded city. Little art shops, friendley people and arts. I hope more visitors will visit in the future
