- Paul2 contributionsVery Bad Signing but good viewsMarvellous view but be aware if you are going to the Restaurant, you have to Buy a Voucher for 65 rm per Person. There are no Vegetarian Options available Except of appetisers. you have to order a Main Course First before you can Order an Appetizer or a Dessert. This is a Kind of Scam in my Opinion.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 5 December 2022
- Christy Cletus1 contributionTerribleHad a disappointing and terrible experience, went to rainbow skywalk but not even 5 minutes it started to rain, had to go down to 65th floor to wait for the rain to stop, there wasnt even any activity or entertainment there to pass the time, the movie theater was apparently under maintenance, there was lack of staff and you cant even leave and re-enter later when the rain stops. Literally waited there doing nothing for 1 hour and ended up leaving with nothing but that 5 minutes of experience. Didnt even get to walk on the skywalk. What a joke. Highly do not recommend to waste your money or time here.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 16 December 2022
- AngusPhuaSingapore, Singapore105 contributionsNice View, Poor VibesBought the 3-attraction package which included the Rainbow Walk, Jurassic and aquarium. The view at The Top is pretty good. Liked the Rainbow Walk which was short but exhilarating. However, everything else was rather poorly maintained. The building was old, aquarium was sad-looking etc. Took a look at the other offerings in the all-inclusive RM98 package but I don’t think it us worth the time or money.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 November 2023
- Shubham P2 contributionsGood views. Skywalk is the highlight. It is good for the views. The activities are okay-ish. The price at which it is being offered is fair. Can easily spend 1-2 hours watching the sun set and the city lights coming on at night. Cafe/restaurant is average.Visited November 2023Travelled soloWritten 4 November 2023
- Christy Lim from SingaporeSingapore, Singapore190 contributionsWorth visit to the Tech DomeThe children went UFO which is great disappointment, go round and round in low speed. More suitable for children under 5 I think. The Tech Dome is more suitable for teens. Will need about an hour in there. Go to pay entrance fee and then when you go in, there’s a few rides that you need to spend money on eg. free fall RM$6. But the children really enjoy it.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 November 2023

Honestly it takes 5 minutes to see the observatory deck and it’s not worth the price. The rainbow sky walk is closed when it rains so the price does not justify what you get.

This is a "MUST-SEE" promoted by the local tourism industry. The Location is GOOD, Just near the Komtar Mall, and the Bus terminal. There are more than Ten (10) attractions in the same building. Visitors can buy ticket for ALL the attractions or individual attraction. Reckon"RAINBOW SKYWALK" @ level 68 Is most popular ! However, the price is VERY HIGH (M$160++/pax approx.). Entrance fee for "Observation Deck" @ level 65 is more worthwhile. Visitor can have a short walk on glass floor !! Best time to visit likely in evening, it is cooler and Better lights for photography !! Some fast food outlets @ level 5/6. Those who had visited CHINA.US...Glass walk UNLIKELY be impressed !!

The Durian exhibition came with the Penang Gallery exhibition. It was great as we got a historical tour of the city and the king of the fruits! Love the part of when & where durian was first mentioned in history starting from the late middle ages either by a Portuguese or Spanish explorer (can’t remember now). Well worth the visit!

Fun and well thought out exhibition. The Durian King of The Fruits and the State Gallery are well thought out and really interesting. I also went to the aquarium which is nice but a little disappointing. I found in the aquarium quite a few fish were mislabelled, for some fish the tank lights were too bright and to my horror they exhibit dyed fish.

Beautiful views and fun experience. No crowds on a Friday morning. Apparently if you have a reservation at the restaurant you don’t need admission - at least that is what I was told on the way down. But the ticket was not expensive. A little hard to find through the maze of shops and malls - just ask for “The Top” not the rainbow skybridge.

TnG machine at entrance wasn't working so I had to get a parking ticket.During payment, machine unable to change money as I had only rm5,it issued a receipt to get refund rm2 at 1st floor office. When i approached a Malay man ,TIMES parking staff,he asked for the receipt and i was told off by him, claimed that machine had notice stated that only rm1 is acceptable for payment and why did i insert rm5 note?!?! He was so annoyed by his body language and expression, went in to office to get me the refund and looked away.I wanted to question him if we don't have small change then can't do payment? Or why there's such service of giving us the receipt to get refund change from the office but get scolded by the parking attendant?? Is it customer's fault if the TnG machine is faulty then we have to get a ticket and look for a machine for payment which can't refund a change? I am lost for words for a tourist spot and yet bad experience with TIMES parking service...what a shame.People out there, pls standby small change of rm1 notes for carpark payment if you have to as that fella had spoilt my day on a Sunday morning (25/6/23), if there's no car behind me, i would give him a piece of my mind rather than just drove off feeling pissed 😡 off the whole afternoon, hope that the management will look into this matter seriously

Visited The TOP Penang, paid RM75 for the combo tickets for rainbow skywalk, Jurassic Research and Aquarium. Not fantastic but worth a visit especially with kids. There are some arcade games and carnival games, small rides at level 6, many shops and restaurants closed down though. It gives me the feel that they are trying to design it like Genting but it doesn't seem to work out perhaps due to other attractions in Penang unlike in Genting where everyone is confined to the space.
I read the reviews before going and doesn't have high expectations. But after the visit I feel it is not that bad. The view from the top is really amazing.
