Great mall, great location, lots of shopping and dining options. Popular and luxury brands under one roof. In fact we went there every day during our stay in Penang.

I found a range of bargains here from electronics to clothing to packeted food items which I brought back with me - the problem I found when first going there is that there are so many levels and each is huge that it can turn into a serious mission - I went to Prangin Mall twice and still probably didn't... This place has variety of things. Most are low end priced. We went during the school holiday period and it was packed. There are few good restaurants too.

The best of this mall is top floor. Near escalator there is normal staircase with windows and nice view over part of the city. Maybe it isn't as nice as nearby skywalk, but it's free. The rest is huge shopping mall full of shops.

Was after a pair of sunglasses for hubby and found some but there wasn't much going on in the mall. There was a history of Penang exhibition which was interesting.

We spent a few hours here today, to get out of the sun. Parking here is interesting, you have to drive almost to the top of the shopping mall to enter the car park. You seem to continue to go up and around. Once inside the mall, we found it pretty interesting. Not your brand new (same same) shopping mall.... More

The famous Teochew chedol in Jalan Penand has a perpetual queue and the environment is also not ideal. You do not have to queue in the hot sun if you just walk a little further to Prangin mall where in the air on environment, there is an outlet serving the same. Price is somewhat higher but you get a bowl... More

I visited this attraction on my last day in Penang. Noted that it has McDonald Restaurant and some stores generally found in US malls. I just looked around and did not shop. I ate a cheap, but delicious meal from one of the small restaurants on the third floor and purchased some snacks and desserts from some other vendors. Good... More

We took 2 days in my whole trip to visit Penang, one of my favourite place here is this mall. Nice, big, good price. The bus also drops off here so easy to come and get back. Should visit this place when you come to George Town.

This mall is the largest and most popular and right in the centre of town. It's safe to say it's THE place on the island if you're looking for computer and phone accessories or 'geeky' stuff. The building is sandwiched in between Komtar tower (so it's not difficult to find) and The 1st Avenue Mall. It has an A and... More
