A historic gem in the heart of the George Town world heritage site. The Sun Yat Sen Museum is a beautifully-preserved house museum in the multicultural George Town world heritage site. This historical house has a permanent exhibition on Sun Yat Sen's early revolutionary period in Penang when he planned a historic uprising on the cusp of the Chinese Revolution of 1911.

Be careful not to walk right past it! Sun Yat Sen was an important figure in modern Chinese history and the building houses many artefacts from his stay in Penang. It's definitely worth a visit for everyone interested in Chinese history.

Location: good Fee: reasonable Place: it was too small with less information in English because the guy who sells tickets can speak English/Thai/Chinese etc. but he got no time to tell us but he tried pretty hard to be a good host, Sun Yat Sen...More
