A historic gem in the heart of the George Town world heritage site. The Sun Yat Sen Museum is a beautifully-preserved house museum in the multicultural George Town world heritage site. This historical house has a permanent exhibition on Sun Yat Sen's early revolutionary period in Penang when he planned a historic uprising on the cusp of the Chinese Revolution of 1911.

The museum shows the history of the stay of the chinese revolutionary in penang. The staff made us feel very welcome and made it quite an experience. Would really recommend stopping by!

We have visited other former homes of Dr Sun Yat Sen in China so this added to our knowledge. A small but well equipped Museum with some very interesting exhibits. Well worth the visit.

Worth a stop in for 5 Malaysian Ringgit but don't expect much. There is not much original furniture or memorabilia from Sun Yat Sen's time in the building but you can learn a bit of history and see what a restored old house with some...More

Dear Loulou, the Sun Yat Sen Museum does accept long stay guests when there is a room available. You could find their email from the website and write to them directly.
