Although Komtar might be showing its age, there are newer malls around that seems to be across the road and also interconnected. Rather disappointed that there was not much inside. Parkson Department store was the standout.

We chanced upon the cinema and the interesting theatre with beanie seats. It was really interesting watching movie with those seats. We literally got to laze around. The beanie seats are surprising comfortable too!
