What i don’t like the most is that it’s under construction but they still charge us the same fees as it was when it’s not under construction. Writings and pictures near the cannons are not that readable as the colour has faded.

Visited during August 2018, the woman at the entrance failed to tell visitors that the place is undergoing refurbishment. Most of the attractions were inaccessible, however they charged full price for admission.
Nothing to see other than a couple of old cannons and a tunnel....More
They continue to excavate this fort so you cannot enter some areas but it's worth a quick visit regardless. There is interesting history around it and you won't find large crowds either. There are guided tours as well every so often but I of course...More
While I enjoy the walk along the waterfront with a series of heritage building, mostly well preserved, the fort itself is quite basic.
I do not regret visiting the inside which offers a good viewpoint on the area.

Sorry I can't give you any indication of tourist volume to the fort. I would assume that it would be fairly high due to its prominent location in the UNESCO Heritage area. Seems to be an odd question coming from a resident? More
