I passed by here on my recent visit to Penang with the kids. It's a fairly standard mosque design but looks quite attractive with the gardens outside. Very hot walking in this area though as there's not much protection from the heat of the sun.

Well maintained interesting heritage mosque. Worth a visit if you have time on your hands. Not as grand, and more modern in appearance than other international mosques but has lovely gardens, artwork and is not crowded. Free short tours are offerred at the front entrance...More

Its very old building with modern painting and decoration, spoiled the originality of heritage area.

Beautiful mosque, and we were given a very informative tour for free. Appropriate clothing provided, but be warned it will make you sweat!

This mosque is part of the UNESCO World heritage Site and is located along Pitt Street or Street of Harmony. It was built by Indian Muslim traders during the 19th century.

It was already closed when we got there. From outside, it looks like a grand mosque. It is still a good overall place to see.

The architecture of the mosque is very beautiful. The surrounding is very clean and well maintained. The mosque looks very majestic at night when it is brightly lit.

While walking around Georgetown we stumbled upon this mosque. It was well maintained, clean, and easy to reach. Worth a look.

It is one of the most beautiful mosques I have seen so far and I keep coming back to visit it on my trips. Best time for me is during the blue hour just after sunset. It gives the most beautiful views as well as...More

The outside is imposing and inviting, but the interior is disappointing. This is nowhere close to being like the grandeur and beauty of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. Great history and is a significant part of Georgetown's mosaic.
