We had a lot of fun at this museum, what surprised us the most was the lack of people. There were no other visitors which meant we could take as long as we wanted at each mural which was a nice change from other trick art museums around the world. Each mural had a photo showing you how to pose to get the most effective shot. We got lots of awesome photos here, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trick art museum without the crowds.

Good choice for family fun, out of the heat. It was fun taking photos with the murals and seeing a bit of Penang history and culture.

This is only our opinion but we found the museum very old and tired. There weren't any other visitors when we visited which probably contributed to our poor experience, it was very dead. We paid RM70 and felt it was not worth it. The first level is interesting if you are into history and learning more about Penang's culture. The second level is a gift shop which we didn't even go into. The third level is their version of tricky eye museum but there we literally noone upstairs and for some reason it was sooo hot, there's no air conditioning, just fans and we could not wait to get out. Additionally, the whole place just seemed so worn out and unloved. I don't mean to speak ill of the place but this was just our experience and others may feel differently.

I was not too keen to go in but my partner was and I'm so happy I did....very interesting museum. I especially enjoyed learning about the blade less fan designed by Dyson.

We visited during the after morning on 1st Jan. There were no other visitors for close to 40mins of our visit. Lucky us have the crew to follow us and help us take photos. But there are also clear instructions on where to stand and sample photos on how to pose.

This museum houses numerous interactive mural art work which are interesting and fun to take photos with. One can easily spend an hour or so (provided there is few people) to complete the entire photoshoot. It is basically a replicate of a typical trick-eye museum like in so many other countries. Nevertheless, the art works are still unique in itself and is a reflection of Malaysia culture.

The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us to take photos and showing me how to pose in a fun manner to fit the photoshoot. We were fortunate to arrive at the time when we were the only visitor, hence there is no queuing for photo taking.

This may not be a must-visit attraction, but is still a relatively good museum with sufficient high-quality interactive art work to spend time in.

Some of the interactive exhibits are cheesy and some are fun to take photos in. It's an okay place to kill time in.

The entrance looked not very convincing at first but the museum has good amount of collection. It felt a bit warmer inside.
