This place is small from the outside but inside it's like the TARDIS big with lots of rooms! One of the better 3D museums in Georgetown. Picture opportunities galore. Staff are friendly especially if you speak a little of Malaysian. Look out for Mr Bean and the Harry Potter double act!

I came here just to visit the time tunnel but I was told when I arrived that you had to also do the 3D art which costs 29 ringgit for both. I paid the money as I wanted to see the time tunnel. The time tunnel is full of history about Penang and it's definitely worth a visit but the... More

For storytelling of the history of Pulau Pinang (Penang Island), this is a "fairly imaginative" setting in the form of a "tunnel" where displays along the sides are set up in a way that you in a sense "go through time" from the early period to 1786 when the English Captain Francis Light arrived for a settlement to the Japanese... It was a good visit as it explains the history of Penang. There were wax models and real ornaments inside. Also, it isnt as crowded as other museums are so it is more comfortable. However, it would have been even more enjoyable if there were people to explain and tell us about Penang along the tunnel instead of letting us... More

Really enjoyed it here but the entrance fee is a bit much for what you get, approximately £6 for both floors. You can pay separate just lower floor, which is like a mini museum or upper floor which is the 3D, or for both together.

The museum itself is on two floors .The ground floor being the time tunnel where the history section is with some interesting exhibits - and some odd ones- and then there is upstairs the ' 3 D museum' Now this comes from a 50 year old UK couple so forgive me the ' ba humbug ' . Lets start with... More
