It's an old chinese temple with traditonal architecture design & rich with historical stories. However, the workers are not able to communicate in English. Only those tourists who are able to understand HOKKIEN with enjoy a lot of story from the workers

A very old and historical Chinese temple located in Armenian Street and built in the 1800's. The architecture is very interesting and the main shrine is very beautiful. The courtyard is well maintained and clean. Very relaxing and peaceful place.

This is one of those things that make the Armenian Street area a great place to browse. It's fascinating to read about the conservation history and this is usually quiet unless there is a festival. This is really beautiful.

Close to the intersection of Armenian St and Cannon St with no entry fee and very friendly staff, this temple is not as large as some but is just as ornate. Apparently it was the headquarters of a Hokkein Secret society in the 19th century....More

A nice little temple off then busy street, right across from a truck of coconuts. Make sure you make even a small offering in the donation boxes to keep the historical temple going and read the big poster in the way in for more reference.
