    A Real Foody Experience
Located in the city of Georgetown, Penang in Malaysia, this unique museum is definitely an informative and entertaining way to learn about Malaysia’s multi-cultural traditional cuisine. What makes the learning experience more fun is the oversized three-dimensional replicas and dioramas with detailed information of the popular local street food and delicacies. Entrance tickets can be booked online or purchased at the museum. Allocate at least one hour to fully appreciate all the displays and taking photographs of the beautiful and skillfully done displays. Highly recommended to visit this fascinating museum.

    Great fun!
There are several unusual museums in Penang and this certainly is one of the best. It really is a fun place to visit but there’s an educational side to it as well. The oversized models of Malaysian foods are brilliant and often there are explanatory comments accompanying the models. It’s all very photogenic so camera/phone batteries will need to be fully charged. Admission for two adults cost 50 ringitts and you can take as long as you want wandering around. The museum is situated on Lebuh Pantai in George Town and is open daily from 9am to 6pm. Well worth a visit!

Ginormous food, Awesome exhibits, Love it
Wonderfood Museum, gigantic dishes of tantalising Malaysian food (replicas), miniatures of street-life, & more, close to our hotel. Painstaking artisans craft realistic-looking Malaysian dishes & hawkerFood, ginormous food-items+props for colourful photo opportunities – just fab! Multicultural heritage, great showcase food facts, amazing! Staff are friendly, can spend hours there, such good fun. (I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), wear a legbrace.) In UNESCO World Heritage site Georgetown Penang, first time there, love the concept, definitely will visit again.

The figures and service of Wonderfood musuem are inpressive. The two level musuem is full of diffent large scale food figures and miniature life figures. Since I visited during weekdays , there is no problem taking photo with minimum crowd. Staffs are friendly and explain some of the details on those food figures history.

Entrance fee is rm 20 per adult. Worth paying for the price since the musuem is interesting.

I really didn’t want to go into this museum but I’m so glad I did. Yes you can take lots of quite funny photos of giant sized food but it’s also surprisingly informative. The degree of skill in making the food models was quite impressive too.

In this museum, they display variety of Malaysian food. So it very attract the foreign tourist to try all of the food by promoting them in the museum. It looks really tasty though and looks real.
