To be honest I think for us this was a waste of money. Apart from the thrill of going up int he balloon there was not much else to it. Yes you could see for a long way but there was not too much to see that we hadn't seen from our boat trip on the lake. All in all rather disappointing. Lots of care needed to when boarding and alighting.

I bought four hot air balloon ride to just ascend and descend within 15minutes for rm35 per pax. Supposed to be matta promotion price. Followed by sky kid to play on the playground for rm25 per pax. A playground which would've been free if I go elsewhere. Flying fox ride was fun (for two times)but hardly worth the price paid. I really wonder who would go there. I was conned from matta fair..

Wear your shoes when attempting the obstacles and bring spares. Also a set of clean clothes and a towel. If you have lifting chalks, bring them to prevent ripping your hands. Bring lots of water. Don't forget to warm up your feet too before heading to the course in case you fall into the pool down below. Don't worry, they filter the water.

You can picnic at the location so it's a suitable place to bring friends and family. If you bring kids, just keep an eye when they play near the lake coz you can spot iguanas sometimes. I would suggest one to go in the morning and try to complete the course within a day, meanwhile, you can soak up the surrounding atmosphere (reminds me of calm seas of South Australia in summer), check out the new national monument, an architectural statement by a local architect, go sightseeing in a water cruise (the planning of putrajaya and the architecture here is one of the things that make me proud of Malaysia), and many more.

The course is pretty tough, very few made it through. I heard there was an international athlete who had to do it more than once to complete it but it's really fun nonetheless. Tests your strength, endurance, and speed.

Highly, highly recommend it.

This was fun, 30-minute ride in a tethered helium balloon, rising over Putrajaya's man-made lake, with very good views of Putrajaya's amazing buildings and the surrounding region. The basket is a donut shape and is enclosed with waist-height walls and then rope netting above that. There were only a few other people when I went, which allowed us to move around easily, but I could imagine it could get filled quickly; in that case, though, the basket slowly turns so you'd still get to enjoy the views all around (and downward through the center).
