Whilst not worth travelling across country for, or if time is short, it's a nice place for a quiet walk.

Visited the park on saturday for a morning jog at 8am. The lake is beautiful and some part of it is good but in general it is not very jogger-friendly as some paths were rocky. My wife and I had bad experience jogging. At one point, we were all alone, in front of us were three foreign-looking guys dressed in orange, two of them were swinging their parangs while looking at us without smiling. We were terrified not sure if they were trying to rob us or what. We greeted them and said hello while we quickly walked past them. I could not imagine going there alone. We did not feel safe. Also at some point, we had to go below the high-tension power tower. Again, we felt extremely uncomfortable worrying about the radiation it might have caused on us. That was our first time and last time.

Its a great place to go during a pleasant weather to drive, bike or just walk around. The flamingos are beautiful and the central nursery is quite nice to walk around.

This is a nice place to visit as a family or with friends, the park is huge and you will get to witness flora and fauna. A great place for a picnic or cycling too.

I loved using the Jogging trails here and discovered a sense of oneness with Nature after using them. there were a lot of birds around, especially waterfowl gliding in to the ponds and lakes.

Can have a fishing experience for beginners at coast area. Good experience and different environment.
Payment is at 15~20RM per rod usage for the whole day. Good for biking also although a bit of rough terrain going to botanical garden. Quite a breeze.

Extensive parkland adjacent to large constructed wetland. Established at time of development of Putrajaya to trap sediment and clean water flowing from Upper catchment to Putrajaya lake. A number of large wetland cells were planted with different types of vegetation to fliter the water. Now stablised as important wetland habitat with a variety of resident and water birds including large numbers of grey and purple herons. A large wetland visitor centre with a museum on the ground floor with many good displays and videos and an observation deck on the upper level. Also has classrooms and workshop rooms in basement and adjacent building. Centre is open all days except Monday from 10-17.00.

The park is public, you can take them inside the park and visit the lake, museum, and park areas free of charge. You only need a car to get inside and organize your own program.
