Not so much difference but in one side there is some improvements but overall still could not challenge the IOI Shopping Mall, a quiet new shopping mall near the Putrajaya in terms of shops and things to look at. Parking and the new Praying Room are quite impressive, good CSR for many prayer cloths for women, clean and fresh. Weekend at peak hours the parking's lots are still available and not so frustrating. Somehow it is still a good choice for shopping with friends and families.

With 2 large supermarkets and a mix of shops, it is more like a suburban mall for groceries and basic neccessities.
There is a good variety of food stores and shops for inexpensive dining.
Otherwise, there is little else for shopping.
It is more for residents than for tourists.

Before IOI came to be, it used to be a flourishing mall for everyone to come and visit. However, it has now become dull and boring. Almost half of the mall is in the middle of adding or renovating the place, there hasn't been any active nor interesting events, and the place has become rather dull. The only redeemable part of the mall is Aeon Big acting as a supermarket for the residents living nearby. So, unless they get aggressive with their selling and open up more shops, they're not going to survive, especially with Shaftburry being built right next to it.

A typical mall, it has a bowling alley, a cineplex and lots of eateries and shops. It is situated next to The Everly hotel, so it is convenient for guests to visit while they're staying at the hotel. The mall is also next to many government offices and ministries, including the Ministry of Health. Lunch time can be a bit hectic with the lunch crowd but otherwise it is fairly lively without being too congested. A great place to hang out and shop and eat for the whole family.

Having visited the KLCC and Sunway malls, Alamanda is in aleague of its own. Slow down your PutraJaya visit as you wind by picking souvenirs from various curio shops.

Alamanda Putrajaya is a shopping mall located in Putrajaya - the administrative capital of Malaysia.

The shops and boutiques serve the middle class group of government officials living in the vast government housing complex.

There are specialized shops and boutiques selling traditional Malay costumes for males and females. In addition there are modern shops and boutiques selling footwear, clothes, accessories and many more.

Anchor tenants are Parkson and Aeon Big. Rest assured, this Parkson offers merchandise of mid to mid end ranges. You can buy male and female apparel, children's clothing, perfume of various high end brands, handbags, household goods such as bedsheet, china, silverware and many more. It's a good place for festival shopping.

Book lovers should head to MPH. Lots of reading materials to choose from.

Entertainment? Head to cinema and bowling alley.

The experience is good. Outdoor scenery is good for selfie lovers.

Positives:

Ramp access for wheelchair.
Clean toilets.
Useful signage.
Food court offers variety of foods from many places around Malaysia and the world.

Medium sized mall, have most of the things you need with fairly good choices of brands. Best is that it is not that crowded. Usually can find parking quite easily.

Stroller friendly, multiple choices for fashion, groceries & food to choose from. Lack connection to public transport as on a bus line service this route. For some reasons, lots of people said the restaurants there is not that good compare to the same brand outside Alamanda & I tend to agree on this. If you stuck in Putrajaya this is one of the nearest mall in town. The newly open mall is a bit further outside of Putrajaya.

Not crowded, even at lunch time. Good selection of shops and restaurants, but not much. You can find Parkson, Cold Storage, also Uniqlo, Padini, Guess, etc. For dining, there are Kenny Rogers, Madam Kwan, Manhattan Fish Market, and for cheaper options, there are McDonald's and KFC
