The good: -------------- 1. Educational. Good for parents with kids and school trip. They will let you pat some of the animals like the terrapins and starfish. Kids love that. 2. Very friendly and welcoming staff. 3. There's a shark in the aquarium! The bad ----------- 1. If you expect this place to be as vibrant as KLCC's Aquaria, you... More

This place is a fun place for kids in Sabah, this aquarium can also be an education center will provide endless entertainment for children. At the main area, it can fit 40-50 people can also be viewed from the first floor. This place is great for education lessons and can be doubled as a mini amphitheater. Presentations or talks can... They have pretty cool aquatic beings here and one of the BIGGEST fish I've ever seen. The guide was very informative and the tour was interactive. My favourite was the leopard printed eel. The tanks was pooly maintained though.

Visited yesterday with family and kids, they really like the big fish tank side shows feeding and some animals on the park, the place is small and needs some improvement on the infrastructure. Government or private sectors involved should take this matter seriously especially on eduction purpose for younger generations, as it looks like abandoned, isolated or not well taken... More

If you have small children and you have nothing else to do, bring them here. I brought my 3 year old daughter and she was shouting in excitement to see all the big fish and other animal. I have to admit the place is a bit run down, but as they decrease the ticket price, plus their effort to guide... More

This place is in area which is relative isolated. So you meet more homeless dogs than people (I was the ony guest). The tanks are old fashioned, but the one for sharks still is big. You find as usual a sea turtle (which I did pet) and there even are a few mammals like slow lories.

They used to have more animals & various types of fishes and sea creatures but lack of funding made the place looking rather rundown. Even the main attraction of seeing a man feeding the fishes in the aquarium was disappointing with only 1 shark and more of small fishes.

I'm supportive of facilities that do good work but this facility is one of the worse ever seen. Should be shut down. Bad to no maintenance of its exhibits. Terrible place!

This place is a bit of an embarrasment to kk, every tank was filled with pea green water... hence the name? The fish are healthy enough if you can see them through the dirty water or behind filthy glass. As someone else said, the staff seemed disinterested, (we had to wipe our own table in the cafe) If you have... More

We heard a lot about this place but to be honest we were disappointed. The taxi ride is 20 ringits one way but very important to tell taxi driver to wait for you as there are no taxis available near this place . The entry fee for non Malaysian is expensive. The staff was cooperative and there was a guided... More
