We chose to go not by the tour but by ourselves. In this way, it was not expensive to get there. There are beautiful fish. A lot of people were there. But it was Friday and was OK to me. You can snorkel off the...More

Sapi Island is very crowded. Most tourists opt to visit this island since most locals / taxi drivers promote this island. Pls don’t rent snorkeling gear. There’s nothing to see but sand and rocks with sea urchins. Clear waters though!

During good weather time (meaning no rain, and less waves), you could see lots of fish and coral. Water quality is actually good, but still there are floating rubbish everywhere. Not really a peaceful place to sunbath due to too many people on the island,...More

The highlight of our visit to Sapi Island was the Zipline. It was run very professionally with proper gear, harness etc. Kids loved it too. We also enjoyed the fish swimming around in the shallow water. Wish there was more education on how to maintain...More

Such a shame that they do less to preserve the fish in the area. Lots of trash is the sea and on the beach. You can see they are trying to stop it, but it seems it’s already polluted. Lots of tourist boats, but the...More

Personally I didn't see any need to book a snorkelling tour. Just make your way to the jetty, hire your equipment at that point, then buy a return trip to your choice of Sapi or Manukan. Manukan has much prettier coral right... More

Sorry, I didn't stay there overnight. Also, I found most of the people were to do one-day activity. However, I think it's the usual things that you bring to any accommodation for a short stay.
