If you wish to walk to the Observatory, it is at least 30 minutes up hill from Tourism Centre. If you wish to drive by car, it is less than 5 minutes. We were recommended to visit the Observatory. Don’t waste your time. You would...More

It offers a nice view of the city. Nothing spectacular. Easy hike up to the top. Some benches available as well.

Checking out the Signal Hill Observatory on our first day in Kota Kinabalu was a great way for us to get our bearings. The view isn't too bad at all, bring your camera and some water. It's probably best to do this early in the...More

This place has a panoramic view of KK city. Has a little cafe for you to hang around. We took the hiking trail which is about 15 minutes long. Pretty easy to get Uber to get back to town if you’re lazy to hike down.

We went to Signal Hill by walking past the Atkinson Clock Tower. We took the walk from Atkinson Clock Tower to the Signal Hill along the road and took us about 20-30minutes walking. By the time we reached signal hill, the sun has not set...More

We walked up to the Signal Hill area, hot and sticky but we did see a monkey along the way, the view is good of Kota and this walk is also connected to the Heritage walk around the city, which is free.
