This is an impressive and strikingly beautiful building, and a great spot for anyone wanting to snap some beautiful sunset photos. We never ventured inside, but still felt that it was worth the visit. Impressive building, beautiful location.

Nice airy mosque, biggest in Kota Kinabalu. Free entry. Robes and hats available to rent in nearby shops. Off street parking and market stalls.

The mosque has seen better days and is in need of maintenance. In addition, the grounds surrounding the mosque were generally untidy and litter was strewn about. The moat surrounding the mosque was polluted. If you've ever visited mosques in say Dubai, Abu Dhabi or...More

The Mosque is amazing to look at from the outside however visiting inside there's not much you can do. If you aren't Islam much if the indoors is restricted

Beautiful Mosque with nice location next to the ocean. Entering the Mosque was for us not worth it. 30 minutes to circle the facility was enough.

Impressive great photographic opportunities and a nice location to walk around. It is worthwhile taking a short taxi ride from KK to visit the mosque.

If you go there during day time, the view is just okay. The photographs showed online is either taken during golden hours (dawn or sunset) or taken by specific angle to make it looks like floating on water. Entrance is free but ladies haves to...More

Cannot enter during prayer session. Minimalist inside as per Islamic framework. Much nicer from outside to catch the mosque in different lighting conditions.
