This place is really awesome. It's good to go with a tour guide they can tell you what to look out for. There were lots of bats and even snakes. Very dark in some places so bring a torch. I think they might even have...More

Took a while to find the real entrance as much of the buildings, walkways were falling apart and the signage poor. It was interesting, quite large and loaded with bats. We were the only ones visiting this nice unique local asset. A worthwhile visit..but be...More

Located 40 mins from Kuching on the new road to Bau, it's a good place to check out. Nothing fancy but it's clean. Entrance ticket is very cheap. Check out cave rocks formation and the occasional bats. Bring your cellphone torch or torchlight.

Come prepared. Pack light, wear comfortable clothing, covered shoes (may be slippery), wear a hat to cover your head (There are bats around, you don't want Guano in your hair) and flash lights recommended. It is a Nature Reserve part of the Bau Formation. Due...More

Although I'm not a caver, I've visited caves of the less or the least challenging kind. What I've learned is that each cave has its own individuality. I'm never attracted by caves where I have to risk life and limbs. I leave those caves to...More

Not far from Kuching, about one hour driving distance from city. If you have a day to spare during your visit to Kuching, and you love nature, definitely worth a visit together with the famous "fairy" cave nearby. The cave is quite dark, bring your...More

During our two-week stay in Malaysia, we visited a number of cave system and whilst Wind Caves are a good place to visit, they're not on the same scale as Batu Caves in KL or the various caves in Gunung Mulu National Park.
